App Central

Privacy Policy

Effective 19 October 2026 · Updated 19 October 2026 · Applies to app-central.in and every app hosted on it

Short version: there are no accounts, no ads, no tracking cookies, and we do not keep what you type, paste or upload. Each app sends only what it needs for that one request to Google's Gemini API, and nothing you upload stays on our server. For the developer tools we keep a 90-day usage log (who, when, what kind of file, a fingerprint of it, never the content) for legal compliance.

1. Who we are

App Central is operated by Vishal Sharma, an independent developer. The site is reachable at app-central.in, and the creator's site is vishalsharma.cloud.

2. Information you enter, paste or upload

Apps ask for only what they need to work. Everything is processed in memory on our server to produce your result and is not written to a database or log. When you close the page, it is gone. We do not ask for email addresses, phone numbers or payment details. What each app handles:

Jyotish Darpan (astrology): name, date, time and place of birth. Used to compute your chart, then discarded. For AI readings only the computed facts (Moon sign, numbers, scores) and your first name are sent to the AI provider, never your full birth details.

Sketch Forge (sketch to code): the image you drop. It is held in memory, sent once to the AI provider to generate code, and discarded. It is never saved to disk.

Recall Vault (recordings): the audio or video file you upload, or the YouTube link you paste. The file is streamed to Google's Gemini Files API and deleted from our server immediately after upload. Google keeps the file for processing for up to 48 hours and then deletes it automatically; pressing "Forget" deletes it right away. A session reference lives only in our server's memory for up to 6 hours. Your questions and answers are not stored.

Refactor Lens (code review): the code you paste. It is sent once to the AI provider and discarded. Remove secrets, keys and customer data before pasting; we cannot see or filter them for you.

3. AI processing

When you press an AI button, our server sends the request described above to Google's Gemini API. Google processes it under its own API terms and, for the Files API, retains uploaded media for up to 48 hours. Your browser never connects to Google directly; only our server does, and our API key is never exposed to you. We ask the model for short answers and apply fair-use limits to keep every app free.

4. Usage logs for the developer tools

For Sketch Forge, Recall Vault and Refactor Lens we keep an audit log, because people can upload or paste material and we must be able to respond to legal requests and stop abuse. Before each use you confirm that the material contains no personal data of other people and no copyrighted content you lack rights to; that confirmation is recorded. Each log entry contains:

The log never contains the image, recording or code itself. Entries are kept for 90 days and then deleted automatically. They are stored on our own server, accessible only to the operator, and are disclosed only when required by law or a valid legal request, or to investigate abuse of the Service.

5. Technical data

6. Third-party services

7. Cookies and local storage

We do not set tracking or advertising cookies. An app may remember a small convenience setting (like your last tab) in your own browser's storage. It never leaves your device.

8. Children

The apps are for general audiences and offer cultural insight and personal reflection. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Parents entering a child's birth details, for example to find a naming syllable, should know those details are processed and discarded as described above.

9. Your content and your rights

You keep all rights to the sketches, recordings and code you bring. We claim none, and we do not use them to train anything. Because we do not store them, there is usually nothing to access, correct or delete; for Recall Vault, "Forget" removes the AI copy on demand. You may ask to see or erase the audit-log entries linked to your IP address, subject to our legal obligations to keep them. If you believe we hold information about you, or have any question, contact us through the contact page and we will respond promptly.

10. Changes

We may update this policy as apps are added. The effective date at the top will change, and significant changes will be noted on the About page.
